190 4th Grade students in Douglas (left) and Glenrock (right) learned about the benefits of trees and their importance through stories and an Arbor Day lesson. Each student received a tree of their own to take home, plant and care for. |

Education programs are held each month in Douglas and Glenrock at the Libraries and Boys and Girls Clubs. Topics cover natural resource and agriculture issues important in Wyoming. |

Converse County Conservation District is proud to sponsor the Converse County 4-H Range Judging Team. Congratulations!! Converse County 4-H Range Judging Team places 3rd at the National Contest OKLAHOMA CITY, OK---The Converse County 4-H Range Judging Team placed 3rd at the 60th Annual National Land and Range Judging Contest held in Oklahoma City, OK. Members of the team were Jessica Grant, Dusty Horn, and Clint Johnson of Glenrock, and Devlyn Green and Morgan Hays of Douglas. The team was coached by Tim Bixby of Preston, CT and Misty Hays of Douglas. Placing as individuals were Dusty in 8th place, Morgan in 10th place, Jessica in 11th place, and Devlyn in 13th place.
