Administration and District Development

 

Goal One: The Converse County Conservation District will address natural resource priorities in Converse County.

 

Action:  The district will utilize the priorities from the current Long Range  Management  Plan to design, promote, and implement natural resource projects and programs.

 

Goal Two:  The Converse County Conservation District will be fiscally

responsible with funding and financial procedures.

 

Action: The district will operate within their annual budget, as approved in July 2008.

 

Action:  The district will adhere to the financial procedures as defined in state statute. 

 

Goal Three:  The Converse County Conservation District will produce and maintain records of programs, projects, and day to day activities.

 

Action: The district will follow their Annual Plan and Long Range 

Management Plan and produce an Annual Report at the end of the fiscal year.

 

Action: The district will fulfill all grant reporting requirements that they

obtain throughout the fiscal year.

 

Goal Four:  The Converse County Conservation District Board of

Supervisors and Staff will develop professionally in their knowledge of

natural resources, conservation, and  administration.

 

Action: The district will promote training of staff and board members through classes and workshops.

 

Action:   The district will attend meetings pertaining to natural resources, conservation, and administration.

 

Action:  The district will be represented at the annual Area meeting in

September.

 

Action:  The district will be represented at the annual WACD convention in November.
