NEWSLETTER

Converse County Conservation District publishes a newsletter 6 times a year.  Design and printing is all completed in-house.  Over 7200 newsletters were sent out during the fiscal year 2007/20008.  Included in the newsletters was information about District and NRCS activities, educational articles on a variety of natural

resource topics and upcoming events.  Other

entries included information about our tree sale with tree planting tips and updates and information on the cost share programs.

 

WYOMING STATE FAIR

The District partnered with the Wyoming Association of Conservation Districts, Wyoming Natural

Resource Foundation, and conservation district

representatives from across the state to provide

information during the Wyoming State Fair.  CCCD put up a display board and spent time discussing what a conservation district is and how we can assist

landowners.  Daily trivia contests were held for prizes.
